Sinopsis :
En Boston, un joven escritor (Paul Dano) dedica su tiempo libre a trabajar como voluntario en un albergue que acoge gente sin hogar. Un día, inesperadamente, se encuentra con un vagabundo que resulta ser su padre (Robert De Niro), un hombre brillante pero problemático con el que había perdido contacto muchos años antes.
